Recorded at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale New York in 1980.
Famous for being filmed as part of the Black Sabbath/Blue Oyster Cult DVD ' Black and Blue'.
'Black Blade' was also released from this show and used on the 'ETL' live album but does not feature here.
One of the few shows to feature 'Born to be wild' and 'Roadhouse Blues'.
Many people who witnessed the shows from this tour found that BOC headlined more often and 'blew' Sabbath off the stage due in part to the promoter being a huge BOC fan and making sure that they had full access to pyros etc every night.
'The Marshall plan' does feature here but is just the studio version as this was the bands first step into making videos (way before MTV).
1. Dr Music (3:43)
2. Cities On Flame (5:25)
3. Divine Wind (4:42)
4. Godzilla (9:22)
5. Roadhouse Blues (4:38)
6. Born To Be Wild (5:40)
7. The Marshall Plan (4:24)
Here is the groundbreaking video of 'The Marshall Plan'
Awww what the hell...
The video is long since deleted so I'm gonna post a HD version of the whole thing as it's just sooo good this includes the Sabbath performance. Ronnie James Dio(RIP) was on vocals at the time and it's a great video.
I was lucky enough to tape this ENTIRE concert using a Sony TCD-5M stereo concert recorder. I still have the original tapes (and the next show at MSG)!
