Bonds international, New York 1981

A fantastic sounding radio show that is a good as any official release. Very famous show that has inspired and different artwork and titles over the years.Although the date on this copy is marked as 18th June 1981 when in fact it was the 16th.
The most popular title is 'The Thing' which is pictured above.
Most in part due to the sound quality which is utterely phenomenal.

Below are some more covers for this show. Some of these versions are incomplete shows though.

More reserved than the Spit Club show recorded the day before and on this site, but nevertheless this is in the MUST HAVE pile (somewhere near the top).
A great show and companion to ETL because it has some tracks that didn't make that album.
'Fire of unknown origin' is simply fantastic. Nice to see 'Flaming Telepaths' in the set as this track often gets neglected from 'Secret Treaties' due to their being so many great tracks from that album.
Heavy metal black and the silver is just power and I've nver understood why that never made the cut on E.T.L, maybe the band felt there would be too many 'Fire of unknown origin' tracks on it'.
It first surfaced as part one of the double CD set 'Tales from the Pyschic wars'. Later it was re-released as 'Alive in New York'.
This show is one of the 4 shows selected as a download as part of the bands 40th anniversary box set.The only downside being that 'that' version is edited with some tracks missing.
So try and get THIS version as it's sound quality is immense and it's complete.
