'Nail you down' was recorded at Perkins palace in Pasadena and this show has been officially released by the band.
Originally appearing as a radio broadcast, then as part of the 'Tales of the Psychic wars live double CD' and most recently as one of the 4 downloads from the 40th anniversary box set.
The set relies heavily on the previous sets of 80-82 with a few oldies thrown in now for good measure 'Before the Kiss (a Redcap)' and 'Harvester of eyes'(how I love that riff) and it's great to have 'Stairway to the stars' back as the opener.
The band do play 'Born to Rock' from the new Buck Dharma solo album 'Flat out' and they even play then NEW track at the time 'Feel the Thunder' from the forth coming 'Revolution by night' album but that doesn't make this version(or any other as it was never broadcasted).
Great sound quality but overall not the greatest of concerts by any means. The band seem to be going through the motions with little conviction.
Here's the track listing:
01. Stairway to the stars
02. Harvester of eyes
03. Workshop of the telescopes
04. Before the kiss
05. Born to rock
06. Hot rails to hell
07. Seven screaming dizbusters
08. Cities on flame
09. Burnin’ for you
10. Joan Crawford
11. Born to be wild
12. The Reaper
13. Roadhouse blues
Here's 'Harvester of eyes' with it's classic chugging riff recorded from this show..
